Marketing and Engagement teams manage a number of digital content channels and tools that support communications with the public and with Vanderbilt Health employees.
In some cases, we manage the channel entirely, from strategy to content development to tactical management. For others, we support the technology or hold the vendor contract but are self-service.

Our department fully manages consumer/patient-facing websites with the primary purpose of helping users choose Vanderbilt Health for their family's care and make appointments. Our websites are a link between discovery in search or through our marketing efforts and the clinical setting.
Our award-winning sites are designed using the most current website and UX/design best practices, are based on primary and secondary research, and are built with an emphasis on the mobile user and data connections with search engines and other technologies.
They include:
- Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt
- Vanderbilt Health, the patient-facing site for the adult clinical enterprise across the health system
- Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics, the patient-facing site for our "convenience care" options through walk-in clinics, clinics in area Walgreens and Vanderbilt Health On Call.
- Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital
- Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital
- Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital
We manage the content directly for these sites, with the exception of provider and location details. Those data come from the Provider and Facility Database (PFD).
While we work very closely with our colleagues in Health IT to make sure the websites work well with other platforms, our department does not manage My Health at Vanderbilt or online scheduling systems.
Submit changes for these sites to Web/Digital Updates Request Form.

Our department holds an account with Eventbrite to manage free or paid events taking place in person or virtually, for any size of audience. Vanderbilt Birth Center, Vanderbilt Osher Center for Integrative Health, and the Division of Trauma / LifeFlight are a few of our more active Eventbrite users.
To use Eventbrite, your team or department will need an "organizer profile," which is a way to group and identify the events you want to publish and promote. Please provide:
- Your team's or department's name
- Names and email addresses of all intended users of the organizer profile
Each organizer profile must use an approved Vanderbilt logo or word mark as identification. Marketing and Engagement will supply the necessary graphic.
There is no cost to use Vanderbilt's enterprise Eventbrite account. Eventbrite will collect a service fee on each ticket or reservation you sell on an event. You can opt to absorb these fees or pass them on to your attendees.
Email Dan Kassis to set up a single-user account or departmental organizer profile.
We do not provide training or support for these services.
